We just made a new addition to our family–a new German Shepherd puppy, which is really cute and the kids love him. We lost our old pet dog a couple of months ago, and it was quite sad. Gus was his name and while he was much loved by all, he was a lousy watchdog (Sorry, Gus!). So when we were shopping around for a new puppy, my wife and I wanted to be sure to get a dog that would be a good watchdog,too. So we got a German Shepherd.
I really wouldn’t have done it because I’ve always felt they were too fearsome and likely to bite the wrong people. But I did some research on the subject and found out that while they are great guard dogs, they’re also great family pets. For more on this topic, visit Protection Dogs
