A great way to compare laptops is the brand and by reading hp laptop reviews. Brand name usually mean reliability and a company that you can trust. Usually a familiar and large company has a better customer service and a more comprehensive warranty and service package. Beware though, every company has released bad laptops over the years, and brand name usually means brand name prices. Don’t rule out some up and coming computer companies. You roll the dice a little bit on service and warranties but it might be worth the money – remember laptops are usually obsolete in 5 to 8 years anyway. Why spend a lot of money on a brand name or on a service plan that it might not even be worth it to get fixed?
