If you want to grind your own coffee for that great fresh brewed mourning coffee and you like the fact that you like to manually grind the coffee it good to know the difference between the different types of grinders.
There are basically two types of coffee grinders. The first type of manual coffee mill is the blade coffee grinder which is great for grinding coffee beans for use in drip coffee makers. This is because you cannot control the exact coarsness of the grind and if turned to fast too long can burn the coffee beans which can make for a bitter tasting cup of coffee.
The second type of manual coffee grinder is the burr type which is best if you are planning on making espresso as a finer exact grind is required. This type of grinder has two burrs, one stationary and one that can be adjusted to control how fine the coffee bean can be ground.
