I am wondering what’s the difference between the two: mobility chairs and manual wheelchairs. All I know is that both are used by mobility challenged individuals, and both are chairs.
I researched on both products and have realized that they are almost interchangeable. In fact, when you type the word mobility chairs, you can also see manual wheelchairs. And when you type the word manual wheelchair, you will find results with mobility chairs in it. But then, upon probing, it came to me that mobility chairs is more of a general term encompassing all mobility equipments that are mainly chair. So, be it manual wheelchairs, power scooters or electric scooters, these are all mobility chairs. On the other hand, wheelchairs can either be classified as electric or manual.
So, be it mobility chairs or manual wheelchairs, it does not matter because both serves the needs of mobility challenged persons.
