Whether you have a new poodle puppy, or an older poodle, the most important thing you can do for it today, is to put it through some poodle obedience training.
Teaching poodle obedience to your dog will allow him to understand what is expected of him in any given situation. Poodle obedience training is not difficult, it is just a matter of having the right knowledge and then applying that knowledge in a consistent manner.
Poodles in obedience training will quickly learn to respond to the specific commands that you give. Many people neglect their responsibility of providing their dog with the correct training. By not teaching obedience training it will be difficult to control your dog in certain situations, and can if fact place him in danger.
Poodle obedience training is just the start. Your dog may learn a few basic commands in the class. But if you cannot carry through with the training at home, you will not be able to maintain the control you need.
