Bee Pollen
Often called a ‘perfect food’, extensive tests on animals show that life can be sustained on an exclusive diet of bee pollen and water. That proves Bee Pollen is a complete food in every sense of the world. Human consumption of bee pollen is praised in the Bible, other religious books, and ancient Chinese and Egyptian texts. Bee Pollen may benefit our health in all kinds of ways, increasing energy, promotes weight loss and acts as an appetite suppressant. For many many years, Bee Pollen has offered only the best, all-natural bee products. Bee pollen is also taken to prevent hay fever.
Bee Propolis
Bee propolis has reportedly been used for hundreds if not thousands of years in various forms of medicine. Anti-inflammatory properties were confirmed in the studies of effectiveness of propolis for immunostimulation. Propolis induce TGF-beta1 production of human immune cells. It contains bioflavonoids, one of which is a natural antibiotic. And lastly, studies aboard were able to confirm the anti-oxidant, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and some anti-viral properties of bee propolis. The anti-inflammatory and antiboitic properties of Propolis may prove active againt sore throats, colds, coughs, flu and much more. Bee Propolis also inhibits prostaglandin production, thereby stopping inflammation.
Honey Bees collect resin from tree and leaves, then make the propolis for building the hive. Bees adopted sterilization habits long before humans. The most sterile place in nature is the bee hive. Proplis is a natural alternative to penicillin and other antibiotics. Propolis contains approximately 50%-70% resins, 30% wax, 10% etheric oils and 5% pollen.
Research shows waxy Propolis contains phytotonizides. The fact that viruses and acteria are unable to build a tolerance against propolis is particularly important to the health field. Propolis is especially rich in amino acids, important for immune system function.
Rich in biofavonoids, Propolis may help in healing and mending blood vessels and resisting the release of histamine. Good results against inflammation of the mucous membranes of the mouth and the throat, dry cough, halitosis, tonsillitis, ulcers, and acne. Stimulates immune system.
Bee Royal Jelly
Royal Jelly is a substance of complex chemical structure produced by the young nurse bees as larva food. However it may not known as bee pollen, royal jelly equals pollen in its productive effects.
Royal jelly, which is secreted from the salivary glands of worker bees, serves as food for all young larvae and as the only food for larvae that will develop into queenbees. For 2-3 days, royal jelly is the only food given to all young larvae in their maturation process, while for the queen larvae, it is the specific food for their whole life period. If a queen is desired, the hatching will receive only royal jelly as its food source, in order that she will become sexually mature and have the fully developed ovaries needed to lay more eggs for the hive. The queen (fed only on royal jelly for her entire life) reaches maturity 5 days earlier than the worker bees; and, when she is fully grown, her weight is double that of the working bee. A Queen Bee may live for five years that is much longer than worker bees who only live six weeks or less. She is fertilized once, and from that moment on can lay as many as three thousand eggs a day during the season. Queen honeybees lay two kinds of eggs: fertilized, female eggs, which have two sets of chromosomes and develop into workers or queens, and unfertilized, male eggs, which have only one set of chromosomes and develop into drones.
Royal jelly’s chemistry has been studied and contains all the essential amino acids, unsaturated fats, natural sugars, minerals, and the B vitamins (B5 and B6).
