Regular Aerobic Exercise To Lose Weight

This year my annual diet will hopefully be my last one. By that I mean I want to lose weight and keep it off. Sound familiar? Well, I think this time I can do it.

The difference is that as my doctor pointed out, I need to change my lifestype permanently. Just start eating healthy foods and get regular aerobic exercise. He said walking would do just fine. Walking to lose weight is more than adequate to fulfill the recommended regular aerobic activity that is essential to keep weight off.

Now the walking isn’t climbing stairs or climbing up San Francisco-style hills. Just a brisk walk for 40 minutes every other day is all you need. But you can’t stop and browse the view–you have to keep going. I’ve tried it and it’s really painless. Walking to lose weight is now a part of my regular exwercise program.
