In Search Of Kid Pirate Costumes – In March?

Dressing up in a great disguise can be loads of fun for kids and adults alike. Think back for a moment to your childhood days. I bet you can remember many carefree days living in the world of pretend and make believe. Little boys love to imitate super heroes, pirates and the time tested cowboys and Indians along with a whole slew of other characters and animals. It’s no different for little girls who dress up as a princess like Cinderella or other characters like Snow White, mermaids and even modern day characters like Hannah Montana.

Halloween is probably the most active season for buying kids costumes but in reality costumes are purchased throughout the year. For instance, my son was in a play at the end of the school year which sent me on a search for kid pirate costumes at the end of March. I must say he looked adorable but please don’t tell him I said that. Adorable was not what he was aiming for. It did make me wonder though why I didn’t have a great costume when I was a kid. Guess I need to ask my mom about that next time I see her.

My point is that costumes can be fun for many occasions such as school plays, costume parties, birthday parties, kid’s sleepovers, unique family portraits, Mardi Gras, festivals and of course for Halloween, or just for dress up fun. You can find just about anything you want online today and costumes are certainly no different. Join in the costume fun!
