These days, not many people have the time to iron a lot of clothes. Also, many clothes don’t require ironing, Others need to iron regularly but don’t have a lot of space in their apartment or home. So, what’s the solution? A folding ironing board. Folding ironing boards are also a great choice for vacation homes or cabins. You don’t see many people traveling with an ironing board!
There are a few different kinds of wall mounted ironing boards. First, there is the board that basically looks like 1/2 of an ironing board. It is surrounded by a metal frame, and it screws or nails to a wall or the back of a door. When you need to do the ocassional ironing, it swings down into place, then go at it. The more elaborate type like this actually mounts in the wall, saving even more space. Another type is the collapsible board. This folds down into a nice, tight, are like a drawer. You fold it out in a series of stages when needed. Some of the better boards have the ablilty to swivel for added versatility.
